FIRST MEETING OVER!

Our first meeting was a slow one. We only had 2 students show up. But we know its a slow process. We did have Brian Prince from Microsoft come in and talk about a lot of new technologies coming out, you all should have been there. Our second meeting will be January 24, 2008 around 2pm. We will have David Redding from Microsoft Gaming Studios talking on XNA. So all you game designers better be there.

Lets get under way

I would like to set a meeting here in the near future to talk about what is going on in the community. I am going to talk to Mr. Viall here at Itt-Technical Institute and see what day would be good to do that. This user group is here to get students involved and ready to be professionals. If there are anyquestions please do not hessitate to ask. If I don't know the answer I am sure there are people out there that do. And don't worry we will find them. :)

Introduction

I am currently a student attending ITT-Technical Institute in Nashville TN. I have set up this blog for Students who are pursuing a career in computer technology. Each day new technologies are introduced onto the market, and not all of these technologies are introduced to students. Hopefully through this blog and my up coming user group, we will be able to discuss and answer any questions you may have on these new technologies, including: Python, Ruby, .NET, SQL, and much much more. I do hope you find this useful and please don't hesitate to offer suggestions.

Thank you,
Sirena Benefield
